Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress and singer. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is a nurse as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent to perform on the age of a child. When she was in 1992, the actress went to her first audition, and was able to win an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model in advertisements on television and newspapers. She is now also taking individual acting classes. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in both the music and drama club. She was the star as Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell then moved in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell quit her college in 2001 after she took the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her first credit debut playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. However the scene she played was removed from the film and she was not even as a credit. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
