Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as a film actress due to her roles in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actor who is active in theater, television and film. She started her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for which she not only received praise from critics but also numerous nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. In 1995, she was the first to appear in the role of Ariel on stage on stage in The Tempest. In addition to Broadway's Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to her work in the film industry, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. She is also well-known for her part in ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
