Robyn Rihanna is also popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados is an Barbadian artist and performer who has given us hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. An extremely successful performer in her prime youthful years, she's already sold more than 41 million albums and 150 million songs worldwide becoming one of the most successful artists of all time. Born in Barbados, she grew up to love reggae and started singing in the midst of her childhood. As a result of the turmoil in her household as well as the disputes her parents had with each other, she began to pursue music. Then she realized that she wanted to make a profession of a singer. When she was still in high school she was a part of a band group, and was asked to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talents of this young lady. She moved to New York so that she was able to pursue a full-time singing career. Rihanna dropped her first album and was an overnight star. Young people were captivated by her enthralling songs that had them tapping their feet, and this made her a star in the world of film. The young and gifted Rihanna has been viewed as a teenage idol and fashion icon. Rihanna is a good steward of her fame and supports various charities.
